On April 13, VI th National Competition of Young Designers “NEW GENERATION OPEN WAY 2018” was held in the building of the shopping center “DOSTYK PLAZA”.
500 young designers applied for participation in the competition. But only the strongest 18 designers made it into the final.
One of the finalists became Avgambayeva Laal, a 1-year student of the KazNAA College named after T. Zhurgenov. She was among the top three designers and was awarded the right to create a capsule collection of 10 models for performance at the Moscow Fashion Week, at MERSEDES FASION WEEK ASTANA and at the Fashion Week in Azerbaijan.
The design of the collection was directed by Turalieva Aigul and Jarzhanova Almagul, the faculty-staff of the college of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov specializing in “Design of clothes”.
